Blyss in hospital

Here is my little sis in hospital. What a little humptydum she is... Although sometimes she does make a lot of noise. I wasn't like that at all when I was little, nooooooooo I was as my pappa says "Een brave meid"... And now I'm a big girl, yes!

I think my baby sister is very lief and I try to give her lots of hugs and kisses, especially when she's sad, which is lots of times I have to say... She does swing her arms and legs about quite a bit. I sometimes really wonder if she realises they're really hers!? And sometimes when I come too close a toe or finger gets stuck in my nose or eyes... Mums says it's not on purpose, but still. I do need to have a word with Blyss about this. I'll start by teaching her that those swaying body extensions are actually hers and she can't just shove them up people noses all the time.

She also eats a lot, or better said, drinks lots. It's all milk these days and she seems to only want the stuff that mamma carries round with her. Mummy seems rather tired these days from being drained of milk round the clock, so I decided to help one time by bringing in the big milk bottle from the fridge. But Blyss didn't want that and neither did mummy. Slightly ungrateful that was. I finally decide to share something and it still isn't right, tsss...

And when I wanted some of mums milk, just to try for comparision, I wasn't allowed either. Nah, mums said I have had my fair share when I was little. Strange, can't remember a thing, have I missed out on anything!?

As soon as mum and dad have recovered from the shockwave called Blyss I'll post some more updates. For now, all hugs and kisses x x x

My zusje baby Blyss is finally born

Joepie, finally she's here, bright eyed and bushy tailed, my beautiful little baby sister Blyss! On Tuesday the 7th of July she finally blinked her eyes into this big wide world.

It took her a while to come but then finally she's here. It also took mum and dad a while to get these photo's up, but that's all to something silly like telephone and internet troubles. Long and boring story... Anyway now I have someone to play with and show all the cool games I have learned from mums and dad and of course at Bumbles...

Although at the moment she's slightly too caught up in sleeping, drinking milk, bit of crying and more sleeping and drinking again... Bit boring really, but mums and dad are happy as a feather so who am I to disagree. And Blyss is lovely. As soon as this compulsive drinking and sleeping thing is over we're going to have lots of fun chasing each other around the house, just like Leon and I are doing now. Can't wait till she's going to Bumbles too...

I love her to bits xxx

Stick a Bricks

I think I would like to become an Stick a Brick architect when I am a really big girl. All those houses the grown ups currently live in are so boring. And Stick a Bricks have great colours. That would surely brighten up the world. A bit like my little playhouse in the garden. That is nice and bright too.

Mummy says I am really good with my bright bricks, but she got a bit tired and while she's snoozing on the couch in the background, I am making her a shiny big castle and we can all live in there. Me, mummy, daddy and all my little people as well. hard work though and it needs lots of concentration. But one day I'll make it into Grand Designs for sure. Love you all xxx

Chocolate cookie time

I am a little girl and little girls love chocolate. My dad knows that so I decided to convince him to make cookies with me. I love cookies and finally I got to make some with my dad. I am a bit like him, nibbling from the ingredients before they become cookies. Cookie cutting is fun, but the cookie cutter is even way more fun.

Ah well, at least I don't mind getting my fingers dirty with bits of flour and cookie any more. Oh the sacrifices we todllers have to make. Why can't we just eat the things!? Still it was good fun and the cookies were great! Thanks dad xxx

Cafe Rouge

Finally my dad managed to get some moving images of me on the internet. Gosh and then those grown ups think they're so all smart. If I would have been able to get to the keyboard and mouse that my daddy shoved out of reach of my little magnet fingers, I would have done it ages ago. Well, months that is, since I am after all still about 20 months now.

Here I am enjoying a full on lunch with mums at Cafe Rouge. I had a bit of a traumatic experience at the snip snip hair dressers earlier on. They wanted to cut my hair and I wasn't ready for that yet. I like to have my long blond hair wave in the wind while the buggy cruises through Ealing High Street. Or I can flick my head aside whenever a handsome toddler boy toddles past me...

But mummy stood firm ground and off it went. Whaaaaa... And there's already not that much hair still. But in the end I have to admit that I now look very stylish with a hint of french retro. Hmmm, maybe hair stylist is my calling!? See you soon in Vanity magazine xx

Bit older now...

Here I am, a little bit older now... About 20 to 23 months. has been tremendous fun the last few months. First of all I create lots of havoc at Bumbles with my best friend and partner in toddler crime Leon. he's a great friend and lots of fun chasing around the garden, shrieking all of Ealing in a complete stoop.

Oh, and I am a big girl now with my new big girl bed. It's very good for bouncing on and reading stories. Silly mums and dadalso want me to sleep in it at night as well. That seems like a less good of an idea, but I'll give it a try one day...

I also have my own house now in the back of the garden. Leon comes over for lots of tea parties. And you can't have a tea party without some good old bubbles. And of course more shrieking and chasing. One day mum and dad decided it would be fun to paint eggs. I have painted before and finally managed to actually touch the paint, but painting eggs felt weird. Also because it wasn't the warmest outside. On top of that we only had one brush and Leon didn't want to share his with me, boehoe...

And now it's summer and already mum and dad killed of a few chickens on a very hot black thing called a bbq. I like chicken but not as often as they want me to eat it. They always have these silly times and things for eating anyway. Just give me a pot of raisins and I'll be a happy smiley girl, what you Leon!?

Oh, your birthday party was great. You have one cool car that is. Shame I can't reach the pedals yet to actually make it go. Need some grown up for that still to push me along.

Here I'm 12 to 15 months old

I went to explore the big outdoors with my mamma and pappa. We went to Kew gardens. What a mess that place is. They should really do something about all those leaves lying on the ground. Does anyone know the trees keep losing them!? I tried to help them out by sticking them back on, but I feel this might be a bit too big a job for me to do. Still Kew is great and I hope we go back lots of times.

I also had my first shoulder ride with daddy. That was cool, but also a little bit scary. Luckily he has a big head and a good grip nose, so no falling of for this little lady.

And don't you all think I look cool in my new shades!? They're actually mum's sunglasses, but I think they look way better on be. Now I can start practising my Cannes look for when I am a big film star! No worries mum and dad, I won't forget you x x
